SDMS Fellow Members

Listed below are the SDMS members who have been recognized as SDMS Fellows, the Society's highest honor.

A Fellow nominee must be an Active member of SDMS who has made outstanding contributions to the Society and the field of sonography. An SDMS Fellow exhibits professional qualities and attributes by contributing to the advancement of sonography and sustained contribution to the SDMS. Once named a Fellow, the member receives all the benefits granted by the Society and has the right to hold elective office and to vote, but no longer pays membership dues. To be eligible for elevation to this classification of membership, the nominee must meet the standards and qualifications as set by the Board of Directors in consultation with the Membership Committee. For more information on eligibility, click here. The Board of Directors selects Fellows from the nominees presented by the Membership Committee. The number of Fellows at any one time cannot exceed one percent (1%) of the total number of voting members and no more than two Fellows can be selected in each calendar year.
