SDMS Educational Foundation

Mission: Dedicated to improving access to quality education and information for the global sonographic community.

The SDMS Educational Foundation was established in 1988 by the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography as an independent entity under IRS Code 501(c)(3) to support and encourage the highest standards in the field of sonography through educational assistance. The Foundation operates solely from donations and contributions which are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. This is a great indication of the trust placed in the Foundation to continue administering only quality programs with the sonographer always first.

We are very proud of our accomplishments, but we also believe there is a lot to be done to enhance ultrasound and help ensure the highest level of patient care available.
