Audience:  All Sonographers

During the workshop we will discuss the recognition of sonoanatomy on ultrasound. The presentation will focus on shoulder anatomy and transition to hands-on scanning, allowing the sonographers to apply their learnings in real time. Individuals will learn to know and understand the rotator cuff anatomy and how to obtain the appropriate images. Learners will be supported in other areas such as the patellar tendon and the Achilles tendon as time permits.

Objectives:
  • Recognize MSK sonoanatomy on ultrasound images.
  • Demonstrate patient positions for shoulder ultrasound.
  • Apply imaging techniques to identify MSK structures.
