This SDMS Knowledge Series explores the presenter’s professional journey from a large trauma center and academic teaching hospital in the United States to a similar clinical role in New Zealand. The session highlights international educational requirements, the expanded scope of sonographers abroad, and how global perspectives can elevate sonography practice in the United States. Attendees will also learn about the evolving role of the Sonographer Clinical Practitioner and how to leverage unique experiences to shape leadership and mentorship in diagnostic medical sonography.

- Define the role and responsibilities of the sonographer practitioner

Registration fees are non-refundable after the start of the event. SDMS CME credit is awarded only to participants whose attendance and completion can be verified by the SDMS.
If attendance cannot be verified and SDMS CME credit is not issued, the registration fee remains non-refundable and is not eligible for dispute through a credit card provider, as the registrant was provided access to the event and educational content. It is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure the functionality of their system and internet prior to the start of the event.
