The SDMS is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Washington. It is recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service is an exempt organization under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. The SDMS is registered with the Texas Secretary of State as a "foreign" corporation.
